Creator Terms

Additional publishing, monetization, ranking, payout, and creator-business rules.

Effective 14 August 2026 · Version 1.0

Effective 14 August 2026 · Version 1.0. These policies apply to Talevara users and creators.

In short

Creator Terms add publishing and monetization rules on top of the general Terms. Creators keep ownership. Before money flows, Talevara must publish the actual earning formula, payout timing, eligibility, ranking parameters, deductions, taxes/KYC, and what happens when content is restricted or removed.

1. Relationship to the Terms

These Creator Terms apply when you use Talevara’s creator, publishing, analytics, promotional, or monetization tools. The general Terms of Service also apply. If program-specific terms conflict with these Creator Terms, the more specific terms govern for that program to the extent permitted by law.

2. Ownership and platform license

You retain your rights in creator content. The license granted in the Terms is intended to give Talevara the permissions needed to host, technically adapt, distribute, secure, moderate, and present the work through the service; it is not a transfer of copyright.

3. Creator representations

You must have the rights required to publish and, where relevant, monetize the work and included assets. You must provide accurate story metadata, maturity and AI labels, tax/payment information, and ownership information requested for payouts or rights verification.

4. Monetization eligibility

Eligibility may depend on age, supported country, account standing, tax/payment verification, content rights, policy compliance, and program-specific requirements. Applicable criteria are displayed before a creator joins a monetization program.

5. Earnings and calculation

Creator earning models are described in the applicable program terms before participation. If Talevara uses read-based revenue share, subscriptions, direct purchases, tips, advertising revenue, or a combination, the exact metric definitions and calculation method must be published in understandable language. Talevara should not reserve an unexplained right to redefine earned amounts retroactively.

6. Payouts, deductions and taxes

Payout schedule, minimum threshold, supported currencies, payment processor, fees, refund/chargeback treatment, fraud adjustments, tax documentation, and withholding are described in the applicable program terms before participation. Creators remain responsible for their own tax obligations except where Talevara is legally required to withhold or report.

7. Rankings and discovery

For creator-business functionality, Talevara describes the main parameters that determine story ranking or prominence and the relative importance of those parameters where required by applicable law. Any ability to influence ranking through payment must be clearly disclosed.

8. Data and analytics

Creator analytics may include reads, completion, follows, subscriber or purchaser metrics, and other engagement data. Talevara explains which metrics are estimates, how invalid traffic is treated, and what data creators can export.

9. Changes, suspension and termination

Material changes to creator-business terms should be announced with the notice required by applicable law. If creator access or monetization is restricted, Talevara should provide reasons and complaint/appeal rights where applicable.

10. Business-user rights

If you are a business user protected by platform-to-business or similar law, mandatory transparency and redress rights apply regardless of conflicting language in these terms. Required mediation, complaint, and ranking disclosures are maintained for the applicable legal entity, markets, and creator program.

11. Current monetization status

Creator monetization and payouts are available only to eligible creator accounts under the applicable program settings. Earnings, payout threshold, supported currencies, tax/KYC flow, payment provider, and payout schedule are shown before a creator participates.
